Oaks Pawn and Jewelry
Salvador Fluriach established Oaks Pawn and Jewelry in 1998. He had 18 years of prior experience in the jewelry and pawn industry. In his career, Sal has owned six different stores including Oaks Pawn and Jewelry. Prior to Oaks Pawn and Jewelry, Sal spent nearly two decades building and establishing relationships with customers throughout Florida.
In 1998, when Oaks Pawn and Jewelry was established, Sal had finally found the store he had been so persistent in finding for the past 18 years. With a perfect location in the heart of Gainesville across from the Oaks Mall, and a great customer base, this store had potentials that soared through the roof.
In March of 2005, Sal hired close friend and now business partner, Clint Asbell to manage his storefront. Clint has spent his first few years increasing his knowledge in the Pawn and Jewelry industry. He has made drastic changes to the store's overall ambiance, creating more of a “Jewelry Store” environment than the typical “Pawn Shop” image and has continued building close and personal relationships with the people throughout the community. He also Created the Oaks Pawn and Jewelry web site and is responsible for establishing the Oaks Pawn and Jewelry Ebay Store which has allowed them to extend their extensive inventory to people around the world.
Oaks Pawn and Jewelry, unlike other pawn shops and jewelry stores, has a combination of items that have been pawned (items bought from individuals) as well as items purchased through wholesalers (the same items purchased by your local malls and jewelry stores). Because of the great prices for which we are able to purchase our merchandise, we can in return, offer prices to our customers that are simply unbeatable. Although a portion of our inventory has been previously owned, we guarantee that each and every item has been thoroughly inspected by our professional staff and guarantee only the highest quality of merchandise and 100% customer satisfaction.

In July of 2010, Sal and Clint opened the doors to High Springs Pawn and Jewelry located in downtown historic High Springs formerly known as Regina's Fine Jewelry.
